(Update) Here are some screen caps from the NFL Kickoff Special on NBC. After further review, looks like our victory was less than totally complete. We got the East Coast broadcast, and definitely made the Central HD cable broadcasts. However, during the Pacific and Mountain Time Zone broadcasts the decals were blurred by the network for most shots.

Almost got one here…

Yet another close call.

(Update) Yes, victory! My congrats to all the eagle eyes who spotted the Indidel Inc. decals during the NFL Kickoff Special! Very, very special thanks to our daring agents who risked life and limb! Check back tomorrow for the some TV captures and pics from our super-rad operatives!

(Update) Uh-oh, Looks like security and network handlers have found and removed some of the decals. Quite a few decal casualties, however mission is still a go. Crossing fingers and hoping the censors miss the rest.

(Update) Operatives successfully placed decals and cleared the site. Yes! They have braved the dangers, and got away without losing their jobs. They’ll never know who was perpetrating mischief for us, and almost all mission objectives are complete. One more to go!

-11 podcasts will return in October. I’m taking a break to finish up the new EP and recuperate my ‘battle-damaged’ hand. Taking a little longer than I had anticipated, but thankfully it’s healing quite nicely.

I’m terribly sorry but 11.5 is going to be late… I’m providing two reasons for you to choose from:

1. I’ve been kidnapped by super hot space babes. They’ve tied me up, and forced me to create funky space music for them as they danced with each other, while I’m allowed to drink only from a chocolate fountain… weak from the sugar in-take and malnutrition, I’m working on a way to escape and fly back to earth utilizing my carbon fiber guitar, a space babe bikini, and stuff I’ve learned on the History Channel in order to achieve re-entry into the atmosphere.

2. Blip.tv is having some issues publishing the feed for the podcasts (they tell me I found a bug in their m4a file handling code and are working to fix it. Since they probably won’t get it fixed until Tuesday and because I’m out of town visiting my Mom for Mother’s day, I’m going to put it off until I return to sunny Southern California.

I think both are extremely likely, but we’ll be back on track to Texas later next weekend. In the meantime: treat yourself to a trip to the local multiplex and check out Iron Man!
